The excavation has been left open to facilitate the building of the necessary vault and also conserve added expense. The size of the vault, housing the meter only, should be 6' wide by 912" long by approximately 616" deep with a re-inforced concrete cover slab and manhole casting to permit of entrance into the vault from the surface to attend to the meter from time to time as* may be necessary. May we have assurance that you will take prompt action to have this vault constructed immediately that "roamers" through the terri- tory may not be tempted to tamper with the meter and possibly injure it. A temporary plank enclosure has been made around it. Yours very truly, (Signed) Ernest L.H. Meyer, Ernest L.H. 14eyer, Supt.
