290.91 RESOLUTION STATING DESIRE OF TOWN BOARD TO BE LEAD AGENT IN CONNECTION WITH SEQRA REVIEW FOR PROPOSED LOCAL LAW AMENDING THE CODE OF THE TOWN OF QUEENSBURY, CHAPTER 136 RESOLUTION NO. 290, 1991, Introduced by Mrs. Betty Monahan who moved for its adoption, seconded by Mr. Ronald Montesi: WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury is currently considering the adoption of certain amendments to the Sewage Disposal Ordinance of the Town of Queensbury, now known as Chapter 136 of the Code of the Town of Queensbury, concerning standards for leaching facilities and single family septic systems, and WHEREAS, the Queensbury Town Board desires to complete the necessary SEQRA review, and it is necessary, as a part thereof, to determine which agency shall be lead agency, and WHEREAS, the Queensbury Town Board desires to be lead agent in connection with said SEQRA review, NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby indicates that a preliminary review of the proposed Local Law to Amend the Code of the Town of Queensbury, Chapter 136 Thereof Entitled Sewers and Sewage Disposal to Amend and Add a New Paragraph Concerning Standards for Leaching Facilities and Single Family Septic Systems, is hereby preliminarily determined to be a Type I Action under SEQRA and determine that coordinated review is necessary, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby indicates its desire to be lead agency, and authorizes the Queensbury Town Attorney to notify all involved agencies that the Town desires, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this resolution, together with a copy of the proposed low, and Part I of the EAF shall be mailed out to the involved agencies, with request to be lead agent.
