Resolution #22 introduced by Councilman Walkup,
seconded by Justice Bentley.
RESOLVED that pursuant to the 1proVisions of Section 209-C of the
General Municipal Law, a dire police squad composed of volunteer firemen
of the South Queensbury "Volunteer Fire Co. , Inc. , be and hereby As organ- '
ized'•consisting of the following members:
Carl Stockwell, Walter Baker, Art Van Wagner, Beeman Lindsey,
Leon Nassivera and Leo Wountain,
Members of theitre police squad 'so .organized at such time as the said "Vol-
unteer Fire Company is on duty, shall have the powers and render service as
peace officers.`

Regular Meeting March 25, 1950

The board convened at 7:30 P.M.
Mr. Fred Miller and Mr. Fred Fields called on the board and requested
that the road leading from the south side of Glen, Lake to the Country
Club road be repaired.
Harold Scales and Robert Scales called on the board in reference to the
drainage of Pershing Road.
Mr. and Mrs. William Palmer, Mr. Frank White, Mr. Howard Weeks, Mr.
Arthur Palmer, Mr. Albert Ouderkirk, Mr. James Nolan, Mr. Angelo Abbenante
and Mr. John Ouderkirk called on the board in reference to the repair of n
the Meadowbrook Road.
Mr. Willard Durham, Mr. and Mrs. Hollis Cross, Mr. Thomas O!Brien, Mr.
Dennis Cronin, Mr. Carl Holmquist, Mr. Harold O'Connor and Mr. Richard
McDonald called on the board in reference to the repair of the Cronin
Road.
The following resolutions were adopted:

RESOLVED that the Board of Water Commissioners purchase and install
one 2" water meter for Delong's Dairy. It was further resolved that cost
of later and installation be charged to the North Glens Falls Water Dis-
trict Extension.
It was further resolved that the Supervisor be instructed to pur -
chase said meter.

Ayes - Mr. Walkup, Mr. Bentley, Mr. Lampson, Mr. Sleight and Mr. Harris.

Resolution ##24 _introduced by Justice Bentley, seconded by Councilman

-RESOLVED that the Town Board .of the Town of Rueensbury request the
County Superintendent of Highways and the Board of Supervisors of Warren
County to place upon the County highway map and to make a part of the
Warren County highway system, the road leading from the Warren County
Sanatorium to the Corinth Road, the said road being known as the Mountain
Road.
