RESOLVED,- that the Town Clerk give notice of the adoption of
this resolution by publishing' an abstract of this resolution twice
in the Glens Falls Times and by posting or causing to be posted
_ abstract of this resolution in at least five (5) public places in
the Town of Queensbury, and further
RESOLVED, that unless a petition shall be filed, this resole -
tion shall take effect thirty (30) days from date of the adoption
thereof.

The board convened at 7:30 P.M.
Also present Mrs. White and Mrs. Palmer, Mr. Lombardy and Mr. Gray
and Ernest Lackey.
Mrs.- White and Mrs. Palmer spoke to the board in reference to the
dust condition on Meadowbrook Road=.
Mr. Lombardy and Mr Gray were present and Mr. Lombardy requested
that he be permitted to purchase water from the North Ulens Falls
Water District.
The-following resolutions were adopted:

RESOLVED that the Town board of the Town of Queensbury hereby
-request the State traffic commission to cause ,to be made a traffic
speed resurvey on Route 9 W beginning at the City line of the City
of Glens Falls and northerly therefrva for a distance of one mile.

WHEREAS there has been established on Route #9 for a distance
of 6400 feet northerly from the City line of the City of Glens Fans,
a maximum speed zone limit of 35 miles per hour,
WHEREAS the northerly point of such speed zone is on a steep
hill at point about 300 feet below the crest of the top of the hill
and thereby creating a hazardous and dangerous condition for the
southbound traffic,
Resolved that such maximum 35 per hour speed zone be extended j
1000 feet northerly.

in an easterly direction along said road for a distance of 400
