WHEREAS there has been established on Route #9 for a distance
of 6400 feet northerly from the City line of the City of Glens Falls,

a maximum speed zone limit of 35 miles per hour,
WHEREAS the northerly point of such speed zone is on a steep
hill at point about 300 feet below the crest of the top of the hill
and thereby creating a hazardous and dangerous condition for the
southbound- traffic,
Resolved that such maximum 35 per hour speed zone ))e extended
1000 feet northerly.

The board convened at 7:30 P.M..
Also present: Frank Cowles and Dr. Henry Clarke, health officer.
Dr. Clarke gave a report of his attendance at the Lake Placid
Health Officers ' meeting.
An application was received from Morris Bragg for water.
Resolution #42 introduced by Mr. Bentley seconded by Mr. Lampson:
It was resolved that the;water pipe laid on Sweet Road be extended
in an easterly direction along said road for a distance of 400
feet. _J

Ayes - Mr. ti lkup, Mr. Bentley, Mr. Lampson, Mr. Sleight and Mr.
Harris.

The privilege of the floor was extended to Mr. Frank Cowles, one of
-the cemetery commissioners, who generally.discussed the cleaning of

cemeteries. He advised the board that the cemetery commission
had come to the conclusion that it would be necessary for the
commission to hire help to perform the work.

It was resolved that the cemetery commissioners be and hereby are
authorized and directed to cause to be cleaned the Sunnyside Gem -
etery and, that such commissioners be and hereby are' authorized to
eause to be repaired the fence around the cemetery.

In connection with the Laying of pipe along the Sweet Road, Zegolution
# 4A introduced by Councilman Lampson, seconded by Justice Ben ey,
whereby its was resolved that the town purchase the necessary pipes and
fittings for the installation of 400 feet df 2" galvanized pipe ex-
tending easterly on the Sweet Road from the Mont.-eay Road.
Further resolved that the Supervisor be and is hereby authorized
to purchase- on behalf of the town, the pipe ne!EOssary to complete
the installation thereof as hereinbefore mentidned.

The board convened at 7:30 P.M.
The privilege of the floor was extended to Bart Reardon, Secy. to the
Glen Lake Association who requested on behalf of said association
the elimination of the curves on the Glen Lake road east from Sulli-
van's Pavillion. The matter was referred to the Highway Committee.
The privilege of the- floor was extended to Charles Jeeckle who spoke )
to the board in reference to zoning and a building code. He stated
that he felt that a zoning code should be adopted.
Mr. Eldridge Moore who was present presented the following certified
