The board convened at 7:30 P.M.
The privilege of the floor was extended to Bart Reardon, Secy. to the
Glen Lake Association who requested on behalf of said association
the elimination of the curves on the Glen Lake road east from Sulli-
van's Pavillion. The matter was referred to the Highway Committee.
The privilege of the floor was extended to Charles Jeeckle who spoke °;
to the board in reference to zoning and a building code. He stated -
that he felt that a zoning code should be adopted.

" Mr. Eldridge Moore who was present presented the following certified
copy of a resolution of the Board of Education of the Union Free
School District #2 of the Town of Queensbury:

To the Town Board of Queensbury: July 23rd, 1950
RIGHT OF WAY RESOLUTION
RESOLVED, that the Board of Education of Union Free School Dis-
trict No. 2 of -the Town of Queensbury, be and is hereby °authorized and
directed to execute a deed in the name of the said school district to
the Town of Queensbury for a right of •way •for highway purposes across
the new school site in a ,generally north-south direction and located
on the site approximately where the old north-south runway is located.
Said right: of way to be 66 feet. in. width. Said execution of said deed
to be made only if the Town of Queensbury secures from the County of
Warren and others, similar deeds to rights of way thereby making a
continuous highway from -Aviation Road to a point on Route 9 north of
the property known as Fan and Bill's on said Route 9,

of Queensbury, Warren -County, New York, do hereby certify the above
resolution to be an exact copy of the resolution passed at the Annual
School Meeting held on July llth, 1950, at the Imperial School.

Privilege of the floor was extended to Mr. Sidney Van Dusen, a cem-
etmery commissioner, who discussed the conditions of cemeteries in the
Town of Queensbury and advised the board that the Harrisena. Cemetery
needs attention. He also discussed the survey of the Pine View Cemetery.
The statement of the Supervisor of the moneys received and disbursed
by him during the month of June was read by the clerk.
The board generally discussed the proposed purchase of property to be
used for a� Town dump.
Resol tion #46 introduced by Justice Sleight, seconded by Justice

RESOLVED that the Supervisor be and is hereby authorized to order
and purchase on behalf of the North Glens Falls Water District Extension
sufficient 8" cast iron pipe and fittings and valves , etc. for laying of
a new main commencing at Route 9 at Glenwood Age. and running thence
northerly along Glenwood to Pine View Road, approximately 2500 feet.

Ayes - Mr. Walkup, Mr. Bentley, Mr. Lampson, Mr. Sleight and 2dr. Harris.
