In reference to the public hearing ufon the proposed purchase
of a truck pursuant to section 142 of the Highway law, no
one appeared opposin g or in favor of such purchase.
Mr Brown of the A. L Parson &Co was present and advised
the board that the truck which his company had to which
the specifications applied and price had been disposed of.
Thereupon the board took no further action in the matter.

Leslie Coulter and Karl Kreiser were present in connection with
the proposed drainage district in the Broadacres section. The
matter was generally discussed.
Sidney Van Dusen, Cemetery Commissioner, also present who dis -
cussed cemetery matters with the board.

Resolved that Laura Goldman, an enrolled democrat, be and is
hereby appointed inspector of elections in E.D. #4 to fill such
vacancy.
It is further resolved that the compensation of such inspector b4
and is hereby fixed at 012.00 per day for each election, primary and
registration day.
Duly adopted by the following vote:

liminary budget was filed.

WHEREAS the Town Board has met at the time and place specified
in notice of public hearing on the preliminary budget and no one
appeared,
Now therefore be it resolved that such preliminary budget as orig-
inally compiled is hereby adopted as the annual budget of the town
for the fiscal year beginning January 1st, 1951 and that such
budget so adopted shall be entered in detail in the minutes of
proceedings of the board.
And be it further resolved that the town clerk of this town pre-
pare and certify in duplicate copies of said annual budget as
adopted' by this board and one copy thereof be delivered to the
'Supervisor of the town to be presented by him to the Board of
Supervisors.
