RESOLUTION SUPPORTING WARREN COUNTY’S APPLICATION FOR
GRANT FUNDS IN CONNECTION WITH 2007 ADIRONDACK PARK
COMMUNITY SMART GROWTH GRANT PROGRAM

WHO MOVED ITS ADOPTION

WHEREAS, the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation in
partnership with the Adirondack Park Agency and New York State Department of State is
soliciting applications for grant funds under the 2007 Adirondack Park Community Smart
Growth Grant Program, and
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 755 of 2007, the Warren County Board of Supervisors
authorized R.S. Lynch & Company to submit an application for grant proceeds of up to
$100,000.00 from such Program, and
WHEREAS, there is no local cost-sharing obligation on the part of any Towns, Villages
or Cities in Warren County, including the Town of Queensbury, choosing to support the grant
application, and
WHEREAS, the Town Board supports such grant application,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby expresses its support of R. S.
Lynch & Company’s grant application, on behalf of Warren County, for funds from the
Adirondack Park Community Smart Growth Grant Program of the New York State Department
of Environmental Conservation for grant proceeds not to exceed $100,000.00 as set forth in the
preambles of this Resolution, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board hereby authorizes the Town Supervisor to forward a
certified copy of this Resolution to the Warren County Board of Supervisors and take any other
actions necessary to effectuate the terms of this Resolution.
