WHEREAS a petition was filed by James W. Fitzgearld, pursuant
to Section 66 of the Transportation Corporatiohe Law, for
a consent by the Twon Board of the Town of 4ueensbury to operate
a motor bus line on and along certain highways in the Town of
,4ueensbury,and
WHEREAS a resolution was duly adopted by the Town Board of the
Town of 14Meensbury on the 8th day of Apri1, 1941 that a public
hearing on said application be had at the office of the Town
clerk on the 21st day of April,k941, at 7:30 o' clock, P.M.,
and th&tcnottee of such hearing be given by publication in
Glens Falls Times " once at least ten days prior to the date
of said hearing, and
WHEREAS due notice of said public hearing was given by
publishing the same in the "Glens Falls Times" on the *th day
of April.1941 and
WHEREAS a public hearing has been held on said application
at the office of the Town Clerk of the Town of 4ueensbury
on the 21st day of April, 1941 at which time persons interested
in said application have been heard,
RESOLVED that the Town Board of the Town of ieueensbury, County
of Warren and State of New Yorks hereby grants to James W.
Fitzgearld its consent to operate a motor bus line on and
along the following highw*yslr�in said Town of i4ueensbury, to wit :
From the City Line on Broad street along and over the Glens Falls-
Corinth County Road #28 to the westerly town line of the Town
of 4ueensbury and the easterly town line of the Town of Luzerne
and return on condition that said James W* Fitzgearld will
carry no passengers between any point in the City of Glens Falls
and any point on said route nearer to the City Of Glens Falls
than the Big Bay Road.

M31MAS., the Torn Board of the Town of Queensbury
did convene in the Office of the Town Clerk of the Town of
Queensbury, N.Y. , on the 21st day or April, 19419 at 7:30 p.m. ,
for a hearing and consideration of said application, and did
hear all persons desiring to be heard thereon, and the same
having been duly and regularly considered, and due considera-
tion being given thereto,
NEW, THEREFORE, on motion of ,
seconded by , be it
RESOLD, tha Fludson Transportation Co. ,Ince , be,
and it hereby is permitted to maintain and operate omnibus or
! motor vehicle routes for the purpose or carrying persons and
property for compensation, upon, along and over the streets,
avenues and public places in the Town of Queensbury, N.Y. ,
as described aforesaid, upon the following terms and conditions:
FIRST: That said omnibuses or motor vehicles shall
not be operated at a rate of speed to exceed thirty (30) miles
an hour.
SECOND: That the rate of fare to be charged is
ten (10¢) cents for a continuous ride between any two points
in the Town or Queensbury, or between any point on said route
in the Town of Queensbury and any point on said route in the
City or Glens Falls, or vice versa*
your petitioner, after payment or fare, as above
specified, will, upon demand, also issue a free transfer,

entitling its passenger on said route to transfer, at a regular
transfer point in the City of Glens Falls, to the first
connecting omnibus or motor vehicle or your petitioner, and
continue the trip on any of its routes, within the City of
.. Glens Falls, or other points in the Town of queensbury,.or to
the Village or Hudson Falls, or any route within the Village of
Hudson Falls, or to and within the Village of South Glens Falls,
and likewise, accept a transfer from any of the above routes to
passengers on the above described route in the Town of Queensbury,

or in the City of Glens Falls.
Your petitioner will also, upon demand, issue a
free transfer entitling"Its passenger to transfer from its through
omnibus or motor vehicle route between the City of Saratoga
Springs, and the City of G1ens: 'Falls, at a regular transfer
point in -the City of Glens Falls to the First connecting omnibus
or motor vehicle of your petitioner, and to continue on said
omnibus or motor vehicle, over the above described route, upon
surrender of said transfer.
THIRD: That said Hudson Transportation Co. ,Inc. ,
shall stop its omnibuses or motor vehicles on said route so as
to conveniently accomodate persons desirous of riding thereon,
and as directed by the Town Board of the Town or Rueensbury.
FOURTH: This franchise shall continue for a term '
