Regular meeting June 24th,1941
At a regular meeting of the Town Board of the Town of
4ueensbury held on the above date, at 7:50 PM. at the
Clerk' s office the following menbers were present ,
Jabez Ingalsbe, Supervisor
Curtis Lampson, Councilman • '
Charles Nobles Justice of Peace
Meredith BentleyJustice of Peace
Ralph Been Justice of peace
H. Russell Harris Town superintendent of Highways was
also present.
Minutes of meeting held on June 5th,1941 were read and
approved.
Mr. Sheldon, Supervisor of the Town of Ft Ann, Washington
bounty Called on the board and advised the Board that
the County of Washington would fix thdrportion of the
west Fort Ann Road if the Town would complete the
• six tahthsD a mile lying in the Town of �4ueensbury.
The matter was refered to The county Attorney for his
opinion.
RESOLUTION #29 Introduced by Mr. Nobles, Seconded. by.Mr.
Bentley.
It was resolved that Mr. Been and Mr. Lampson be` and are
appointed a committee to inspect the work done under
authorization by the Town board on the various cemeteries
in'the Town of 4ueensbury,
Further Resolved that said committee be and is hereby
authorized and directed to inspect the Mountainside
Free Library in view of determining the use that is
being made of the money' s appropiated by the Town
fdr use in said Library.
Further Resolved that said gommkttee report ,to this
board upon completion of the said inspection

RESOLUTION No. troduced by Mr. Bentley, seconded by
Mr. Nobles.`
It was resolved that the Town Superintendent 'of Highways
be and is hereby auhhorized to remove grass, weeds, brush
and care for and conserve the Jenkins Cemetery on Bay Road.

Further Resolved that brush andiweeds and grass b-a removed
at least three times a year.
Further resolved that the sum of $50.00_ be and hereby ,is
appropiated for said cemetery.
Further resolved that the work be completed by Octoberlst
1941.

that the property could be bought for the sum of $750.
and that was the lowest price they could obtain.

R Iution No 31 Introduced by Mr. Bentley, Seconded by
• Mr. Nobles.
It was resolved that Town of kiueensbury purchase from
C.V.Peters lot lying east of the Town Store house
property add bounded on the north by aviation field Road,
on the East By Miller and Peters and on the south by Peters
and on,:the west by the said Store House property, being a
lot 594 feet deep and approximately 51 feet wide with
right of way of not less than 25 feet wide from the south
side..of ..said lot to any street laid out on said Peters
tract which connects with a public highway for the sum
of $750.
-Further resolved that the above purchase shalle be subject
to the approval of the�County attorney as to title and
Instrument of Conveyance.

Ayes- Mr. Been, Mr. Nobles, Mr. Lampson, Mr, Bentley and
Mr, ,Ingalsbe.

a committee to confer with C.V.Peters in the matter of the devel-

field road in reference .to laying out highways on said tract.
