Resolution No. 52, Introduced by Justice of the Peace ,
Nobles and Seconded by Councilman Lampson
Resolved that .the Town Superintendent of Highways be and
is hereby authorized and em0owered to lease through Earl
Carswell and Avery Bullen, Machinery Rental Brokers, the
10 ton Roller to be used in defdnee construction at the
coiling price for Rental of equipment of that kind as
fixed by the Government Agency, said equipment to be
returned in as good condition as of date of rental. Lessees
i furnish and pay for the transportation of said equipment f
from place to place.
It Js. further resolved that a 20%' of the amount of rental
be and is hereby fixed as commission to the said Earl
Carswell and Avery Bullen for d c �,� °�„�-n kkax arranging
the rentals of said equipment * Me/ �nue derived from
said rental .

The Board generally discussed with the Town Superintendent
of Highways of the sale and purchase of tires for
the grader and the following resolution was introduced.
Resolution No. 54 Introduced by Justice Sleight, second
It was resolved thgt the. Town Boj&rd:wh6rabyn6uthorizes
the Town Superintendent to accep t One Hundred Dollars
for used Tires From Herbert Barker which was offered to
the Town Superintendent in August 1942.
The above resolution was not seconded.
