the Water Commissioners of the City of Glens Falls for the
purpose of discussing the terms and conditions of proposed
contract for supplying water to the Ridge Road Water District
on a date to be fixed by the supervisor with the Mayor or
Chairman of- the 'eater Commissioners.
Duly adopted May 12th, 1945 by the following vote :
Ayes : Mr Walkup, Mr Bentley, Mr Lampson, Mr Sleight and Mr Fowler,
Noes : None.
Resolution No 14 Introduced by Mr Sleight, seconded by Mr
Walkup.
Resolved that the assignment from Louis G B. Stebbins to the
Ridge Road Water District, assigning all his interest in and
to the Water main along Ridge Road in said Distriit, dated May
12th, 1945, be and the same is hereby accepted.
Duly adopted by the following vote :
Ayes : Mr Walkup, Mr Bentley, Mr Lampson, Mr Sleight and
Mr Fowler,
Noes None
Resolution No 15 Introduced by Mr Sleight, Seconded by Mr
Bentley*
It was resolved that the Mountainside Grange be and is hereby
authorized to remove grass, weeds , brush and carefor and
conserve the Scotch Cemetery on Bay Road.
and
Further resolved that brush/weeds and grass be removed at least
three times a year by the said Mountainside Grange.
Further resolved that the sum of 650* be and is hereby
appropiated for said cemetery.
Further resolved that the work be completed by October 1st,
1945.
Duly adopted by the following vote
Ayes : Mr Walkup, Mr Bentley, Mr Lampson, Mr Sleight and
Mr Fowler.

Regular 14eetina May 26th, 1945
At a regular meeting of the Town Board, of the Town of Queensbury,
held on th a above date at 7 :30 P.M. at the Clerks office, the
following members were presetn.
D.Elmer Fowler Supervisor
Henry Sleight Justice of the Peace --
Meredith Bentley Justice; of the Peace
Curtis Lampson Councilman
Raymond Walkup, Councilman
H. Russell Harris Town of Highways also
present.
Minutes of meeting held on the 28th day of April read and approved.

Mrs Viele called on the Board in reference to donating a
service flags to the Town of Queensbury and suggested that
apprdpiate- service be held on the occaseion. The Board
generally discussed the matter with her.
The Supervisor appointed Mr Lampson a committee of One
in the matter.
Mr Pearly called on the Board in reference to the-
Town-highway by his boat house on Lake George. Asked that the
same be abndoned. The Board Generally discussed the matter
with him and suggested that he take the matter up
with the County Attorney and the Board of Supervisors.
The clerk read a communicatioh from the County Attorney
in reference to paying the Highway Dept for work done
on cemeteries. Letter placed on file.
H. Russell Harris talked to the Board in reference to
trees which have been grew in the highways.
Mr Bentley and Mr Lampson reportedon their conference with
the water commissioners of the City of Glens Falls and
stated that the Commissioners as agreeable to entering into
a contract to sell water to the Ridae Road eater District.
he Clerk read the monthly statement of the Monneys
'received and disbursed by the supervisor for the month of
April. Statement placed on file.
Resolution No. 16 Introduced by Mr Sleight, seconded by
Mr Bentley.
Whereas , H. Russell Harris, Town Superintendent of Highways
of the Town of Queensbury, presented to this Board
itemized bill verified the 18th day of December, 1944, in
the sum of $95.85 for cleaning and caring for the West
Glens Falls, Sunnyside cemeteries in the Town of Queensbury
pursuant to authority given by resolution of this Board
and said bill was not audited and disallowed for the
reason not presented in proper form.
Resolved that the supervisor of said Town be and hereby
id authorized to transfer from the General Fund to Item
1 of the Highway fund, the sum of $95.85, the fund from
which this bill was paid to the employees performing the
work.
Duly adopted by the following vote.
Ayes ; Mr '.7alkup, Mr. Bentley, Mr Lampson, Mr. Sleight and
Mr Fowler.
Noes :-None.
