In compliance with application approvals granted by the Town of Queensbury I offer
the following regarding the referenced project.
The design plans, prepared by this office and reviewed and approved by the Town
as associated with the wastewater system application, are as follows:
Site Improvements for the Lands of Magical Shore Acres, LLC
• Sheet V-1 Site Plan with BOH Variance Requests
• Sheet WW-4 Wastewater Details
Dated: October 9, 2018
The original intent of this project was to reuse the existing septic tank serving the
main residence and replace the pump tank and pump with new assemblies. Upon
further investigation of the existing septic tank it was determined that a new septic
tank would be necessary. Because its location would not meet the required
setbacks to the dwelling or the property line variances from the Queensbury Board
of Health (BOH) were required. The pump tank location was also included in the
variance process. All necessary variances were issued by the Queensbury BOH in
November 2018.
During the course of construction, I was on the job site to observe key components
of the system installation culminating with the `start-up' of the pump assembly and
control panel system in March 2020. The absorption field system was installed as
per the design plan and since the septic tank and pump tank were new installations
an `as-built' sketch (Plan Sheet AB-1) is provided for the file. Based on my
inspection of the system start-up it is my opinion that the wastewater system is in
compliance with the intent of the approved design plan and is ready for operation.
