Passed out letter from Deputy Clerk requesting upgrade, requested
that both deputies receive upgrade...
COMPTROLLERS OFFICE
Passed out salary schedule for 2004 ... memo noted increase in the
retirement system ...

Jim Coughlin
Discussed part time laborers requested they be raised to $12.00 per
hour...noted this will be discussed when salaries are discussed.
Equipment requested-new loader, agreed to fix old loader and not
purchase a new one...misc. equipment includes two cash registers
$3200.00 and in heavy equipment new snow plow $12,000 loader
repairs and maintenance $13,000 office supplies-$500.00 small
tools and repairs-$500.00 Legal Ads-Hazardous waste day and tire
day...$700.00 Telephone - $1300.00 vehicle repair-$1000.00
Household Hazardous waste day- $28,000 suggested free latex paint
day at the transfer station... trash hauling of recyclables $9500.00
Administrative fee $47,000. covers overhead...requested that Ms.
Switzer find out exact cost of the accounting fee for the departments.
Need to know the reasoning behind the figures.

20,000 and 20,000 for purchasing.

Discussed lap top with docking station...used off site
GPS system-for highway we want to be able to mark all drainage
ditches, mark catch basins, noted presently they have a list they are
not marked on a map
Info Kiosk - proposed for atrium, area to make information available
to the public, computer screen to find out about their property,
election districts. Etc.
Employee ID hardware...$4,600.
Books, publications and subscriptions- put in $1,000.
Cell phone and pager-$800.00 noted that can be cut back to
$500.00
