of the following conditions are met:
A. There are special circumstances or conditions applying to the land or sign(s)
which do not apply generally to land or signs in the neighborhood.
B. The strict application of the Ordinance would deprive the applicant of the
reasonable use of such sign or land.
C. The variance is in general harmony with the restrictions established for the
area.
D. The variance is the minimum relief necessary to accomplish the intended objectives.
E. The variance is in general harmony with the general purpose and intent of
the Ordinance and is not otherwise injurious to the neighborhood or detrimental
to the public welfare.

We recommend your purchasing the SIGN ORDINANCE so that you may
be fully apprised of all Town of Queensbury regulations.
Please return the ORIGINAL APPLICATION with all pages intact. The Planning
Department requires 13 copies of your application. A complete application shall
include a variance site plan with narrative and supporting reports, if applicable.
All maps must be folded to an 8% by 14 inch or smaller format. All components
of the submittal must contain all information required under the applicable Town
Law or Regulation.
A complete application is necessary for placement of the Queensbury Zoning
Board of Appeals agenda. The necessary information that you will need for a complete
variance site plan will follow after this message.
Applications must be received by 2 p.m. on the deadline date. The deadline
dates for submission are listed on the Deadline Submission Sheet available in the
Planning Department. However, submittals will be accepted prior to the submission
deadline date for staff review and placement on the agenda.
