Dear Dave:
In response to your inquiryas to why the Warren CountyBoard of Realtors needs to upgrade their building,I
offer the following:
The building was changed from a single family dwelling to a Group G1 Office approximately 1988. As is the
case now and would have been then, the building was required to meet all the requirements for a G1
occupancy,including handicapped accesslility:
Therefore,the building must be upgraded and the following issues must be changed within the budding.
1. You must provide a ramp to the front of the building that complies with the New York State Uniform
Building Code.
2. You must provide a handicap bathroom that will meet the New York State Uniform Building Code.
3. You must widen the corridor in the front Bay Road side of the building to 44 inches,minimum
4. All doorways to offices must be widened to 36 inch doors or 32 inch clear openings.
Once the above items have been addressed on a plan and approved by this office, you may begin
construction to make the renovations to bring this building into compliance with New York State Uniform
Building Code.
