All other roads that are not under my jurisdiction my need further approval from the County. Our running club is requesting permission from the Town of Queensbury, New York to use the town roads for the purpose of running a foot race. The number of runners will be capped at 300. There will be 4 water stops along the route, 3 on the bike path and one at the intersection of Mannis and Fitzgerald Roads. As requested, the route and logistics of our race are as follows: Start: SUNY Adirondack College, rear parking lot, 8am. Proceed to Haviland Road, and take a left. Cross over Bay Road and continue on Blind Rock Road to the 4 way STOP sign. Turn Right on Mannis, continue up Fitzgerald, and return to Blind Rock Road. Take a right on Blind Rock Road and continue to Birdsall Road. Take a right on Birdsall Road, up the hill and onto the Warren County Bike Trail. Follow the Warren County Bike Trail to the end, on Beach Road in Lake George. Take a left on Beach Road. Finish is on the Battlefield at the intersection of Beach Road and West Brook Road. We will be processing the Certificate of Insurance required by the town, which I will forward to your attention. Please advise me of any additional information you need, or any changes on the insurance requirements.
