Special Meeting March 30th, 1937..
At a Special Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Queenebury,
held on the above date, at 7 P.M. at the Town Clerk' s Office, the
following members were present.
D. Elmer Fowler Supervisor
Floyd Ellsworth Justice of Peace
Meredith Bentley
Curtis Lampoon
Charles Nobles
Bert D. Turner Town Clerk.
RESOLUTION No. 169 Introduced by Mr. Nobles seconded by {
Mr. Lampoon.
WAS The Town Board, of the Town of queensbuzy has
determined to do certain relief work in said Town and have passed
resolutions to furnishxs Tractors and Trucks and Tractcyr,and Trudc
- Drivers to carry out said work and
s WHEREAS There are insufficient funds in Itw I of the
Highway Fund of said Town for the payment of thesalAxfteand wages
of said drivers and the cost of operations of said Timak & Tractor-
e RESOLVED That pursuant to the Provisions of Section 10 of
Chapter '198 of- the Laws of 19319 there be and hereby is appropla°ted
for the purpose of paying said salaries and wages of said Truck &
Tractor Drivers and the cost of operation of said Truck and Tractor
so employed and so used for said relief work the sum of Three
--Xudred Dollars ($300. ) said amount to be placed in Item I of the
Highway fund and to be pAid out and accounted for as other moneys
in said Item I of the Highway, Fund- it is further-
RESOLVED That the Town of Queensbnry issue certificate of
inde"btedne s in the sun of Three Hurd red Dollars ($300. ) and the
Super, eor = Town Clerk are hereby authorized to execute said
certi ate . Indebtedness for the purpose of raising said sum for
the pa ent of:. salaries` and waged of said Truck and Tractor driferas u<
so employed by the Town on said relief work and the cost of operation

Drivers to carry out said work and

so emplogd by -'he Town of said relief work and the cost of operation
of said Tractor and Truck-

A Petition of the Taxpayers, residing on Jueensbury Ave,
to have said nueensbury Ave. , , graded and resurfaced, with stonedust
and oil, from Dix Ave. to the Boulevard' was received and referred to
Arthur H. Stone Town Supt. of Highways.
An Application for a permit to hold a Carnival was received
from the Loyal Order of 1,!oose by the Board. No formal action .was taken
by the Board.

the New York Power & Light Corp. No $®mgt action was taken by the
Board.
A Petition of the City of Glens Falls, requesting the consent
of the Board to lay a Water Main which will, in part, traverse the
Aviation Field Roadg was presented to the Board,
