Charles Nobles, Curtis Lampson " Meredith Bentley " !� Minutes of meetings held on Feb. 25th„ Feb.27th, March 10, and March 23rd read and approved Resolution No, 2.6 Introduced by Mr. Nobles, Seconded by Mr. Lampson WHEREAS, GLENN A. HUBBELL DID ON THE 24TH day of March 19369 file with the Town Clerk of the Town of ueensbu Q ry, a petition asking for the consent of the local authorities of said municipality to ektend and operate a stage -and omnibus line for the carriage of passen#ers and property over a certain highway in the said municipality under the provisions of the transportation Corporations Law and the Public service Commission. „e NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that a public hearing on said petition be held before the Town Board of the Town of queensbury at the Town Clerk' s office in said town on the 6th day of April, 1936 at 7 o'clock in the afternoon and at any further time and place to which such hearing may be adjourned for the purpose of determine whether or not said j consent should be granted. FURTHER RESOLVED, that the clerk of this body cause to be published .once a notice of said hearing in the Glens Falls Times and the Post Star both published at Glens Falls, Ni Y. on 26th day of March, 1936 and that written notice of the filing of such application be given to all common carriers operating in the Towm of Queensbury. Duly adopted by the following vote ` Ayes- Mr. Ellsworth,Mr. Nobles, Mr. Lampsdn, Mr. Bentley,and Mr. Fowler noes None RESOLUTION #271ntrodueed by Mr. Bentley seconded by Mr. Ellsworth, odd XOM, it was resolved that Supervisor be and is hereby authorized to purchase for use of the Town Board in the Town Clerks Office a table. Duly adopted by the following vote Ayes- Mr. Ellsworth, Mr. Nobles, Mr. Lampson and Mr. Bentley. Noes- Mr. Fowler A C6mmittee of residence of lower Dix Ave. and the county line road called on the board and asked that an appropiation be made for the repair, of the County Line Road. The following resolution .was adopted RESOLUTION #25 Introduced by Mr. Ellsworth, sea) nded by Mr. Nobles It was resolved that the sum of $2500.00 be and the same is hereby appropiated .for special improvment known as follows- On the County Line Road Eo called commencing at Dix Ave. aid Continuing in a Northerly direction along said road until the money so appropiated is exhausted. Hubbell of the Town of Queensbury, County of Warren and State of New York, heretofore and on the 24th day of March c 1936, filed with the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury, Warren County, New York, by filing the same in the office of Bert D. Turner, clerk of said Town, his petition in writing duly verified, wherein it did pray for the consent of the localAuthorities Comprising the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury, Warren County, New York, to op opetate a bus line for the Transportation of passengers and property f r hire upon and along certain streets and highways within the Town of • o ( ueensbury and which petition is now on file in the office of the clerk of the saidTTown of queensbury, and WHEREAS at a meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury held at the office of the Town Clerk of the Town of aueensbury on the 24th day of Ms ch, 3936 a resolution was adopted pursuant to sections 66 and 67 of the Transportation Corporation Law to the effect that due notice of a public hearing to be held on said petition -be given by_ Publishing in newspapers designated by said Town for that purpose, notice of a Public Hearing on the afore mentioned petition to be held at the office of the Town Clerk of the Town of queensbury, on the 6th day of April 1936, at 7:00 O' clock P.
