Completion and Warranty
On August 30,2005,2005 SimplexGrinnell successfully completed the final inspection,test, and
demonstration of the Fire Alarm System Additions(see attached test sheet) on the above
referenced project,
All the equipment supplied by SimplexGrinnell has been tested in accordance with contract
specifications,manufacturers instructions,and State&Local Codes. Per the New York State Fire
Code(paragraph 901.2.1) "the subject fire protection system has been installed in accordance
with approved plans and has been tested in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications
and the appropriate installation standard". Please notify us immediately in writing if there are any
open items relating to the completion of this project.
All tested devices will be covered for defects in workmanship for a period of one(1)year from
the above completion date(see below).
In the future, any questions or assistance you may require regarding this project should be

Completion and Warranty(continued)
Thank you for selecting SimrplexGrinnell as the provider of your new System(s)on the above
referenced project. As of August 30,2005,the installation of this project is substantially
complete and the system/equipment has been successfully inspected and is operating according
to the published specifications. Accordingly, SimplexGrinnell provides a one(1) year warranty,
which is now in effect and will expire on August 30,2006.
SimplexGrinnell provides warranty support during normal working hours,i.e., 8AM 5PM,
Monday through Friday, excluding holidays unless specifically negotiated or contracted
otherwise. This warranty is contingent upon the proper installation and use of the product(s).
Please be advised,however,that such warranty shall not apply if the product failure is the result
of an accident,neglect,misuse,user programming errors, failure of electrical power, air
conditioning dust, and/or causes other than a manufacturing defect. Any addition of third party
software not supplied by SimplexGrinnell to the system/equipment by anyone other than
SimplexGrirmell shall void all warranties. Purchaser agrees to provide full and free access to
authorized SimplexGrinnell employees.
