RESOLUTION INCREASING APPROPRIATIONS AND AMENDING 2005
TOWN BUDGET TO ACCOMMODATE EMS BUDGETS

WHO MOVED ITS ADOPTION

WHEREAS, the Town of Queensbury has entered into a contracts with the West Glens
Falls Emergency Medical Squad to provide EMS services during 2005, and
WHEREAS, the total amount budgeted in the Town’s 2005 budget for such EMS
services is inadequate to cover the cost of the contract,
WHEREAS, the Accounting Department has accordingly requested a budget amendment,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby authorizes and directs amendment
of the Town’s 2005 Budget to increase appropriations in Account #005-3410-4415-4981 in the
amount of $91,886 to be financed through additional appropriated fund balance (005-0005-
0599), and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board further approves, authorizes and directs the
Accounting Office to make any necessary adjustments, transfers or prepare any documentation
necessary to amend the 2005 Town Budget and effectuate the terms of this Resolution.
