Minutes of meeting held on July 23rd I929 iadolioUt 20th
read and approved in the matter of the claim of Grace Beham
for damage to her automobile the committee composed of justice
taylor reported that he had consulted Mr Frasier of mott and
frasier and county attorney Beecher clothier and that the county
attorney recommended it be paid and so the following resolution
was adopted
Resolution #29intorduced by Justice Taylor
seconed by justice hicks all presant voting in the affirmative
it was resolved thatthe supervisor is hereby authorized to
pay Grace M Behab the sum of $2I.50 in full for all claims to
f' date for damage to which aacured on may 6th I929 on the highway
I, near the ramsey farm and he is also authorized to pay the same
f prie to audit
in the matter of the erection of trafie
light at Onida corners and on the Boulevard near monty Bridge
a petition of I8 tax payers and residents names was submitted
to the board and placed on file supervisor Mead reported that
he had interviewed Bertram E Murray Co Supertendant of Highways
4 and thatMurray in interviewing Bisby of the department of
Highways sup murray said that Bisby would not consent to the *
erection of traffic lights at those points
letter from County attorner Beecher Clothier
read in regard to the above stating that the Town Board could
raise $500 for that purpose and any over that amount it would
be necessary for tax payers to vote on the proposition letter
received and placed on file
in the matter of the ripley"" s :
ripley point road it was the openion of the board that no
l further action was required by it untill the necesary maps
and deeds are submitted to for consideration

at a special meeting of the Town Zoard of the town of 4ueens-
bury called to fill vacancy existing in the board of Inspectors
election in distrjct #3 and such other business as may propel
come before the board at this time the following members were

and he is also authorised to pay same from the Misselsneous
fund
in the matter of appointing an inspector of
election -- to fill vacancy caused by the resignation of mable
VanDusen the following resolution was adopted

hereby resolved that the resignation of Mable VanDusen as a
democratic Inspector of election in district

it was hereby resolved that the town board of the
town of queensbury appoints A Joseph Regan as '6''emoeratic Inspector
of election in district #3 to fill the unexpir6d term of Mabel
VanDusen Resigned.
Resolution # 33 , interduced bj* Tustiee Maylor,and
seconded by Justice Hicks, all present voting in the
affirmative. the town board does hereby authorizes supervisor
Jerry B. Mead to pay ,C,W.Cool agent for the Aguenituse ins,
for the Renewal on new store house premiun to the amount of
#6556 and he is authorized to pay same prior to audit.

and special meeting of September 14th91929read and approved
Resolution #34 interduced by clerk Turner and
seconded by Justice Hicks all present voting in the affirmative
it was resolved thatsupervisor Jerry B.Mead be and hereby is
appointed a committee of one to interview county attorney
in regard to the Ripley Point road.
A letter from T.R. Lewis on Ripley Point road,
was reAd to the board,by supervisor.
The board generally discused town matters and
other business comming before the board at this time.
