highway fund 22.000 Machinery fund 8000 LZiscellanous fund for
snow removal 2000 for brush removal 2500 Town Supt Salary 3000
Viscellanous fund 7500 after a general disguision of the matter
the following resolution was adopted
Resolution #38 interduced by Justice taylor seconed
by justice gifford all presant voting in the affirmative it was
resolved that that the following amounts be and .hereby is raised by
taxation for highway ,: ±be year of I930 for general town funds
U2.009 bridge fund 31000 machinery fund X8000 Snow fund $2500
Brush Fund 2200 for salary dfrSupt of highways I500 Ifiscellanous
fund I000 total fund for highway work 038.200
a letter was read to the board writen by albert Jenkins
trustee of school District #10 town of jueensbury to place two
danger signs on the bay road after the board concidering the matter
the following resolotion was adopted

thetown board authorizes the town supt of highways Joseph ricketts
to purehas 3 suitable signs and erect on the highway in school district
#10 Town of aueensbury and he is authorized to pay the same from the
Miscellanous fund
Resolution #40 intorduced by ,justice taylor and seconed
by Justice Gifford all presant voting in the affirmative it was
resolved that town board hereby appoints Floyd Ellsworth as justice
of peace to fill the unexpired term caused by the death of Leonard
Codner as no other business comming before the board

seconed by justice ellsworth all presant voting in the affirmative

the supervisor be�--.allowed 350 town Clerk I75 and that said sum
be paid from miscellaneous fund of the highway fund town Supt
of Highways Joseph Ricketts presented a bill of 246.00 Dollars
for work performed on new storehouse for November and december I928
after some diseudsion by the board the following resolution was adop-
ted

Joseph Ricketts the sum of 246.00 upon the presentati-6ii -bf
a properly verified Voucher for same for service performed during
november and december I928 and further resolved that said sum
be in full for all service to date
And further resolved that said sum be paid in the
usual manner of Town- Supt Salary, in regard to installing a stop
and go light at the entersection of the road at montys bridge
clerk turner was instructed to wright to the department ()f.

Mr Collins and Mr Fox called on the board and submitted
phonographs and prints of the rome Graders supervisor ;mead
submitted his bond to the town Board for approval and the
following resolution was adopted

Jerry B Mead With G.F.Ferguson and James Knight and D.H.

Resolved that pursuant to the provision of section 24 of the t
public welfare law Ruel E -Hopkins of the Town of queeneburr
warren county N.Y. be and hereby is appointed welfare officer
of said town it is further resolved that the salary of .dhkd public
welfare Officer and hereby is fiat at the som of 30000 per
month including salary and all expences payable monthel.r by� the
Supervisor upon receipt of verified statement from the General
town Fund
