RESOLUTION APPROVING MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT
BETWEEN TOWN OF QUEENSBURY AND TOWN OF QUEENSBURY
UNIT OF CIVIL SERVICE EMPLOYEES ASSOCIATION, INC. (CSEA)

WHEREAS, the Town of Queensbury (Town) have entered into a Collective Bargaining
Agreement with the Town of Queensbury Unit of the Civil Service Employees Association, Inc.
(CSEA) regarding employment of the employees in the Town’s CSEA Bargaining Unit for the period
from January 1, 2020 through December 31, 2023, and
WHEREAS, the Town’s health insurance contract will be renewed on July 1, 2020 and the
renewal will include an emergency room copay of $200, an inpatient hospital copay of $1,000 and the
use of the Blue Access network and
WHEREAS, the Town and the CSEA negotiated terms and have come to an agreement
concerning the health insurance renewal, and
WHEREAS, a Memorandum of Agreement was signed by CSEA and the Town on May 11,
2020 subject to the approval of the Town Board,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby approves, affirms and ratifies the terms
of the May 11, 2020 Memorandum of Agreement between the Town of Queensbury and Town of
Queensbury Unit of the Civil Service Employees Association, Inc. presented at this meeting, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board further authorizes and directs the Town Supervisor and/or
Town Budget Officer to take such other and further action necessary to effectuate the terms of this
Resolution.

MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT
THIS MEMORANDUM OF ,1GREEN1ENT is made on May 2010, by and
between THE TOWN OF QUEENSBURY (die "Town-) and the 'TOWN OF QUEENSBURY
UNIT OF THE CIVIL SERVICE; EMPLOYEES ASSOCIATION. INC. ("CSEA-) as follows:
WHEREAS, the Town and CSFA entered into a Collective Bargaining Agreement for the
period January 1. 2020 through December 31, 2023: and
WHEREAS, the Town's health insurance contract wC he renewed on July I, 2020:and
WIIEREAS, the health insurance contract renewal will nelude an emergency room
copay of$200, an inpatient hospital copay of 51.000. and the use of the Blue Access network;
NOW. THEREFORE. the parties hereto agree as follows:
Effective July I, 2018. the emergency room copay -will he increased ff0111 575 to
5200. with $165 reimbursed to employees through the Town's Health Reimbursement Account
for its employees: the inpatient hospital copay will be increased from $750 to 51.000. with the
entire $1,000 reimbursed to employees throtvzh the Towns Health Reimbursement Account for
its employees; and the network for the service providers !Or the towns health insurance plan
will be the Blue Access network.
2. All other provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement not modified herein
shall remain in fiat force and effect.
3. This Memorandum of Agreement is subject to the approval of'the Queensbury
Town Board.
