it was:°�,xesolved that the supervisor be and is hereby authorised to sign
and. execute a contract between the Town of Queensbury , Warren County;,and Warren
County Society for the prevention of Cruelty to Animals, to authorized the
said Warren County Society for the prevention of Cuuielty to andmal.s
through its agent to capture and impoundage of all dogs found unlicensed and "
running at large in the Town of Zueensbury, in Violation of the provisions of'
article l of the Agriculture & Markets Law, Chapter 48- Law of 1922 was
amended relating to the licenseing of dogs and care for and to dispose of any
such dogs in the manier as provided by law at the following rates .50,E
per day for each dog impounded not to exceed. five days except dogs confined by
order of the Town Health officer , 12.00 for each dog sized - 2.00 for each
dog destroyed , Further resolved that the said contract period shall begin on
the 1st, day of July 1939 and end. on the 31st, day of Dec, 1939 thereof.
Further resolved that said contract and terms is subject to the approval of the
Department of Agriculture & Markets of the State of T1ew York

to the Works Progess administration for the money to complet the supplemental
W.P.A.Project on the Lockhart Mountain Road,

and drivers to carry said work, and
MHE'REAS, there in insuffieent fund` available for the payment of the Town char
of the cost said Public 'Torks Project, now
Therefore be it resolved that the Board Appropiate and it does Appropiate
sum of $700. for the purpose of paying the Town share of said Public Forks Project
and
Be it further resolved that pursuant to section 5- C of Chapter 436 of the.
la'wss of 1938, the Town of Queenssbur.* 1 o id sum of $ 700. and issue therefore
its Certificate of indebtedness payable O ear from the date of said Certificate
with interest at 4 per centum per annum,and be it further resolved that the
Supervisor and 'Town Clerk be and they hereby are .Autherized to execute said
certificate of indebtedness and be, it further resolved that the money so borrowe
deposited in a special account snd be used exclusively for the (forks Project
purposes above mentioned.

WIEREAS, the. Bonds duly issued for the best Glens" Falls Water District in
the bum of" 3189000.and the same have been sold and proceeds returned to the
Glens -Palls National Bank and Trust Company and placed to the`= credit of said
Water 'District,
RESOLVE, That the Supervisor be and hereby is authorized to pay noted issued
for temporary financing of said Water District, together with inyerest thereon
the same to be'-paid from proceeds of sale of said bonds.
