RESOLUTION # 57, tntrodueed by Mr 3wntley, seconded by Mr 3eenp it was resolved that Town of Queenn'bury hereby accepts as a public highway the street known as Foster Ave,and more patioularly described in a daed dated July 21st 1939 from Iva Mae Foster Willis to the Town of Queensbury. Turner Town Clerk ' S, James McPhillips, attorney for the Hudson Transportation Co. , Inc. , has appeared before the Board, and stated that the residents of $hedTown of Queensbury, in the vicinity of West Glens Falls have, on numerous occasions, petitioned the-Hudson Transportation Company to operate a service from the went city lint of Blens Falls to what is known as "Big Bay Road", on the kighway known as the " Glens Falls- Corinth Road ", and WHEREAS39the Hudson Transportation Company has advised the residents of said Hamlet of West Glens Falls that it would be willing, provided the Town Board would permit, to operate a trial run into said territory for a period of nine nonthesto ascertain whether there was sufficient business to establish a route, apply for a franchise, and have the same certificated by the Public Service Commission# and 71S ,the residents of said territory are desirous that the Hudson Transports on Co. , Inc. , establish such trial route and request the Town Board to grant permission to Hudson Transportation Co. , lnc. ,to operate a notor bus or motor vehicle route for the purpose of carrying personas and property for compensation upon,along and over the following streets,avenues and public places in the Town of � ueensbury,Warren C.ounty,N.Y. ,for a period of nine months,as a trial run.
