LOCATED AT END OF FIFTH STREET EXTENSION
FROM LARRY CLUTE
RESOLUTION NO.: 246, 2002
INTRODUCED BY: Mr. Tim Brewer
WHO MOVED FOR ITS ADOPTION
SECONDED BY: Mr. Roger Boor
WHEREAS, Town resident Larry Clute has generously offered to donate to the Town of
Queensbury a parcel of land located at the end of Fifth Street Extension designated as Tax Map No.:
131-8-22, and
WHEREAS, the Town Highway Superintendent has evaluated the parcel and feels that
acquisition of the property would help improve the end of Fifth Street and its intersection with Richard

intersection and therefore recommends that the Town accept the parcel, and
WHEREAS, the Town Board agrees that acquisition of the parcel will benefit Town residents
and therefore the Board wishes to authorize acceptance of the parcel,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Town Board hereby approves and accepts for Town highway purposes,
the transfer of a portion of the parcel designed as Tax Map No.: 131-8-22 located at the end of Fifth
Street Extension as more particularly described in a metes and bounds description prepared by
VanDusen & Steves for the Town, from Larry Clute to the Town of Queensbury, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board authorizes and directs the Town Supervisor’s Office to
send a copy of this Resolution to Larry Clute with its thanks for Mr. Clute’s generosity in donating the
parcel to the Town of Queensbury, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board further authorizes and directs Town Counsel to prepare
and the Town Supervisor to execute any and all documents necessary to complete this transaction
