RESOLUTION RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO.: 76,2001 CONCERNING
PURCHASE OF ROLLER FOR TOWN HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT FROM
ALBANY LADDER AND AUTHORIZING PURCHASE

WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 76, 2001, the Queensbury Town Board authorized the Town
Highway Superintendent’s purchase of one (1) Wacker Roller from Albany Ladder for the amount of
$9,566.85, and
WHEREAS, the Town Highway Superintendent has advised the Town Board that Albany
Ladder misquoted and therefore cannot honor its quoted price for the Wacker Roller and therefore the
Highway Superintendent has cancelled the purchase order for the Roller, and
WHEREAS, the Highway Superintendent has requested that the Town Board rescind
Resolution No. 76,2001 and authorize the purchase of one (1) Mauldin Vibratory Roller #1450 from
Anderson Equipment for an amount not to exceed $9,800,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby rescinds Resolution No.: 76,2001, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board approves of the Highway Superintendent’s purchase of
one (1) Mauldin Vibratory Roller #1450 from Anderson Equipment for an amount not to exceed
$9,800 to be paid for from the appropriate Highway Department account, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board further authorizes and directs the Highway Superintendent,
Purchasing Agent and/or Town Supervisor to take any and all action necessary to effectuate the terms
of this Resolution.
