201.2001 RESOLUTION SEEKING LEAD AGENCY STATUS AND AUTHORIZING TOWN CLERK TO SUBMIT PETITION FOR CHANGE OF ZONE FOR APPLICANTS KENNETH AND CHERIE LUKE TO PLANNING BOARD RESOLUTION NO.: 201, 2001 INTRODUCED BY: Mr. Daniel Stec WHO MOVED ITS ADOPTION SECONDED BY: Mr. James Martin WHEREAS, Kenneth and Cherie Luke have submitted an application to the Queensbury Town Clerk’s Office for rezoning of four (4) parcels of property and the Town Planning Staff has reviewed the application and have deemed it complete for review purposes, and WHEREAS, applications for rezoning and zoning amendments are forwarded to the Town Planning Department and Planning Board for recommendations in accordance with §179-94 of the Town Zoning Ordinance, and WHEREAS, following such recommendations, the Queensbury Town Board will review the rezoning applications and take such other action as it shall deem necessary and proper, and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby authorizes and directs the Town Clerk to submit the following application to the Queensbury Planning Board for its advisory report and recommendation: APPLICATION OF : Kenneth and Cherie Luke TAX MAP NO’S: : 61-1-41.2; 61-1-41.3; 61-1-42 and 61-1-43 LOCATION OF PROPERTIES : 425 Bay Road, Queensbury APPLICATION FOR : Rezoning of parcels currently zoned Urban Residential – One Acre (UR-1A) to Multifamily-Residential – 5,000 Square Feet (MR-5) and BE IT FURTHER, RESOLVED, that the Town Board hereby indicates its wish to be Lead Agency for SEQRA review of this project and authorizes and directs the Department of Community Development to notify any other involved agencies. th Duly adopted this 7 day of May, 2001, by the following vote: AYES : Mr. Brower, Mr. Martin, Mr. Turner, Mr. Stec, Mr. Brewer NOES : None ABSENT: None 2
