I would recommend that the horn/strobe be installed at a location and level which will allow it to be seen through the front windows(after hours alarm). • Additionally, to satisfy the requirements of section 907.11 BCNY Exception 2, the duct detectors must also be electronically supervised to provide notification of a trouble condition, such as a failure of the power supply or trouble with the detector circuitry. An audible or visual signal at a location in the store which will provide notification of the problem to responsible personnel is acceptable. I would recommend that a remote indicator be installed in the office and labeled as"Duct smoke detector trouble indicator." Need NFPA-13 letter for any modifications to existing fire sprinkler system in this space. 2. Install combination Exit/Emergency lights at each exit door. 3. Install two Emergency Light packs in back room as shown on addendum drawing. 4. I am reserving the right to require additional directional exit signs after height of racks and displays is determined. 5. Install emergency lighting for sales floor as part of fluorescent light system. (Should provide better lighting coverage as opposed to individual battery packs) 6.
