229.96 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TOWN CLERK TO SUBMIT PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT (PUD) EXTENSION REQUEST FOR HUDSON POINTE, INC. TO TOWN OF QUEENSBURY PLANNING BOARD RESOLUTION NO. 229, 96 INTRODUCED BY: Mrs. Carol Pulver WHO MOVED ITS ADOPTION SECONDED BY: Mrs. Betty Monahan WHEREAS, certain property lying and existing within the Town of Queensbury bearing Tax Map No.: 148-1-3 and located in the vicinity of 777 Corinth Road, Queensbury, New York 12804, is currently zoned SR-1A (Suburban Residential - 1 Acre), and WHEREAS, ACO Property Advisors, Inc., hereinafter referred to as the "Developer" has requested that the Town of Queensbury change or modify the zoning for such property to allow the development of a multi-faceted project, including enactment of an extension of the Hudson Pointe Planned Unit Development (PUD) zoning district in such a manner that the above-referenced parcel would be included in the PUD, and WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury feels that it would be appropriate to consider modification of the zone in the area to allow the project, provided that the same is zoned and in a configuration to be deemed appropriate by the Town Board and developed as an addition or extension to the Planned Unit Development, in accordance with the provisions of the Town of Queensbury, Zoning Ordinance, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury hereby refers the PUD extension proposal as identified above to the Planning Board for input and comments from that Board, and directs the Executive Director of the Office of Community Development to submit a copy of this resolution and all of the appropriate PUD extension application materials to the Planning Board for its review.
