RESOLUTION AMENDING 1996 BUDGET
RESOLUTION NO.: 500, 96

WHO MOVED ITS ADOPTION
SECONDED BY: Mrs. Connie Goedert
WHEREAS, Mortgage Tax Revenues exceeds estimates by $274,000,
and the Town Board desires to increase estimated revenues in the
Mortgage Tax Account by $150,000, and
WHEREAS, the Contingency Account has been depleted during the
course of the fiscal year, and increases in this account are needed
for end of year shortfalls, and
WHEREAS, the Town Board desires to use the increase in the
Mortgage Tax estimated revenues to fund an increase of $150,000. in
General Fund Contingency,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury hereby
approves, authorizes, and directs that the 1996 Budget be amended
as follows:
1) Increase appropriations in the General Fund Contingency
Account No.: 001-1990-4400 by $150,000;
2) Increase estimated revenues in the Mortgage Tax Revenue
Account No.: 001-0001-3005 by $150,000;
3) Increase appropriations and estimated revenues in the
General Fund by $150,000.
and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the 1996 Town Budget is hereby amended
accordingly.
