WHEREAS, the Queensbury Water Superintendent has advised that it is necessary
to restore and reconstruct the roadway in the Foster Avenue/Upper Glen Street intersection
due to a water main break in the New York State Right of Way on July 4th, 2020, and
WHEREAS, the Water Superintendent received quotes for such reconstruction
work and the lowest quote is from Edward & Thomas O'Connor, Inc., dated September 16,
2020 in the amount of$34,125,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby authorizes the restoration
and reconstruction of the roadway in the Foster Avenue/Upper Glen Street intersection by
Edward & Thomas O'Connor, Inc., in accordance with its quote dated September 16, 2020
in the amount of$34,125 substantially in the form presented at this meeting to be paid from
Account No.: 040-8340-4400, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board further authorizes and directs the Town
Supervisor to sign any needed documentation and the Town Supervisor, Town Water
Superintendent and/or Budget Officer to take such other and further action as may be
necessary to effectuate the terms of this Resolution.

We are pleased to offer you the following price to complete the reconstruction of Foster
Avenue with plans by CT Male Assoc. dated 7/23/2020.
Scope of Work
1. Set up permanent lane closure per plan
2. Excavate intersection 22"and dispose of material off site.
3. Place 12"of Type 2 Subbase
4. Reset 10+/-LF of granite curb (supplied by the Town)
5. Finegrade subbase for paving
6. Pave intersection per asphalt detail
7. Remove lane closure
For the sum of$34,125.00
The Town of Queensbury will purchase the asphalt, O'Connor will truck the asphalt.
