WHEREAS, Darleen Dougher, the Town of Queensbury’s Director of Purchasing duly
advertised for bids for transportation for the elderly in the Town of Queensbury for the year 1999, and
WHEREAS, the Warren-Hamilton Counties Community Action Agency has offered to
provide transportation services for the elderly for the year 1999 for an amount of $11,615, and
WHEREAS, Ms. Dougher has recommended that the Town Board award the bid to the
Warren-Hamilton Counties Community Action Agency, the lowest bidder,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury hereby awards the contract for
transportation of the elderly for the Town of Queensbury for the year 1999 to the Warren-Hamilton
Counties Community Action Agency for the amount of $11,615, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the contract amount shall be paid for from the appropriate account.
