JUDGE AUSTIN-Happy New Year, I am Family Court Judge John Austin a former
Supervisor, it is a pleasure to see such a large number of people here
on organization day, when the Supervisor, Town Board Members and Elected
Town Officials take their office for the year. I wish you all a Happy
New Year, it has been a good year for the Town of Queensbury and there
have been several good years, we have a town that has a lot going for it,
there are a lot of things happening here, the Town Board has been responsive
and available to the public and they have been doing things with the interest
of the people in the town in mind. I am here today to swear into office
the new Town Board Members:

i L SUPERVISOR BORGOS-Thank you, to all of you that came out today, friends

and guests and relatives, I am pleased to see my family here and the families
( of most of the people on the Board. I am delighted to have such a beautiful
day today. I wish to give a special thanks to Judge John Austin who came
out of seclusion up the road where all of his friends and neighbors live
that serve us, we appreciate you being here to perform the ceremony. Just
a few brief words, I would like to indicate that this is the beginning
in what we intend to be a very positive and optimistic year, we are dedicated
to a seriousness of purpose for the future of Queensbury and I am sure
in maintaining that seriousness we are never going to loose sight of the
fact that we are human and we are going to try to preserve our sense of
good humor through this, with good luck and a happy New Year we thank you
again for being here.
