A detailed report on all contracts of the Queensbury Water
District was offered by Mr. Kestner. The report on the resu~s
of the two well systems which have proved to be ample for all
needs as anticipated in the system as· a whole was given by
the engineer. The color of the hydrants to be installed was
deci-ded upon to be- "Red". The .findings of .the ,inspection of
the Pershing, 4ehley, Coolidge sewer system was discussed in
detail by the engineer.
Mr. Codner, recommended the accepting of the deed for Patton
Drive from Mr. Alton Bartholomew.
RESOLUTION NO. 113 introduced by Mr. Akins, seconded by Mr. Beaty
WHEREAS, Alton D. Bartholomew has requested the Town to accept a
deed submitted by Charlotte H. Carey and Albert E. Beswick, as
executors, to Patton Drive from Everetts Avenue up to a line from
the southeast corner of Lot 77 to the northeasterly corner of
Lot 70, and
WHEREAS, Bernard J. Codnerf Superintendent of Highways, has
advised this board that it is in the best interest of the
Town of Queensbury that ·this portion of Patton.Drive be accepted,
and
WHEREAS, said deed has already been approved by the County Attorney,
Albert E. Beswick
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED.. that the deed of Charlotte H. Carey and
Albert,E. Beswick be nad the same is hereby accepted and approved
and that the Town Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to have
said deed recorded in the Warren County Clerk's Office, after which
said deed shall be properly filed in t he office of Town Clerk.

Noes - None
A general discussion on-the closing hours for the Town Dump was
aired at lenght. A change in plans to allow opening on Sunday
afternoons yas proposed by members of the Town Board. Action will
be taken if,personna1t can be secured to supervise the operation
of the dump during the hours suggested.

WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury has appointed a
Town Planning Board pursuant to the provisions of Section 271 of
the Town Law, and
WHEREAS, it is provided by Section 276·of the Town Law that a
town board may adopt a resolution authorizing a planning board to
approve plats showing new streets or highways, subject to the
aonditions set forth in Section 277 of the Town Law, and
WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury has heretofore
adopted an ordinance relating to t he approval and acceptance of
streets and highways in subdivisions, and
WHEREAS, the Planning Board of the Town of Queensbury has met in
conference with the Town Board and has expressed its willingness
to undertake the approval of plats subject to the conditions of
the Town Law and the existing town ordinances relating to sub-
divisions, be it
RESOLVED, that pursuant to Section 276 of the Town Law the Town
Board of the Town of Queensbury does, hereby authorize and empower
the Planning Board of the Town of Queensbury. to approve plats

showing new streets or highways in the Town of Queensbury
subject to the conditions of approval provided by Section 277
of the Town Law and elsewher.e, and su.bjeot also to existing
town ordinances relating to the development of subdivision s

We, the undersigned owners of taxable real property
situate in the proposed Extension No.3 to tqe existing ,Pershing-
Ashley-Coolidge Sewer District in the Town of Queensbury, warren
County, New York, hereinafter described, owning in the aggregate
at least one-half of the assessed valuation of all the taxable
real property in the proposed Extension No. 3 as shown upon the
latest completed assessment roll of the said Town of Qu~ensbury
and being resident owners owning taxable property aggr~gating
at least one-half of the assessed valuation of all the taxable
real property of the proposed Extension No. 3 owned by resident
owners according to the latest completed assessment ro],l, do
hereby petition your honorable body to establish the following

posed Extension No. 3 to the Pershing-Ashley-Coolidge Sewer Dis-
triok and a general plan of the proposed sewer system to be con-
structed within the pro~osed Extension No. 3 to the Pershing-
Ashley-Coolidge Sewer D~strict. Suoh map and plan also ~how such
other matters as may be required by Seotion 192 of the Town Law.
