All vessels moored at the site shall be situated within the Special Anchorage Area established by the Floating Object permit held by the permittee. 30. (a) Only biodegradable detergents and cleaning compounds listed on the EPA webpage for meeting the EPA Safer Choice standard (http://www2.epa.gov/saferchoice/products)and stored in original containers maybe used. Detergents containing ammonia, sodium hypochlorite, chlorinated solvents, petroleum distillates or lye are prohibited. (b)Water usage shall be limited to less than 1,000 gallons per day. Boat washing shall cease when wash water pools on the surface of the ground. The number of boats cleaned shall be limited to ten per day. (c) Boat cleaning shall not result in any discharge to Lake George, tributary streams; wetlands or stormwater systems. (d) Boat hull scraping in the water or at the approved boat cleaning area is prohibited. (e) Designated boat cleaning areas shall not be used for other purposes including vehicle, boat or trailer parking or storage of materials. (f)Approved boat cleaning areas or practices may not be altered or relocated except by approval of the Lake George Park Commission. 31.. Marina Description The Lake.George Boat Company is a full service marina located on the east shore of.Harris Bay. The facility includes a showroom and indoor storage area, office and store, repair,shop;restroom's, wastewater holding tanks, boat launch,and a marine rail.
