218.2009 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ENGAGEMENT OF BUSINESS AUTOMATION SERVICES, INC. FOR UTILITY BILLING SYSTEM AND IMPLEMENTATION SERVICES RESOLUTION NO.: 218, 2009 INTRODUCED BY: Mr. John Strough WHO MOVED ITS ADOPTION SECONDED BY: Mr. Ronald Montesi WHEREAS, the Town of Queensbury’s Town Clerk and Technology Coordinator requested proposals for a utility billing software system and implementation services, and WHEREAS, proposals were received and reviewed by the Town Clerk and Technology Coordinator and they have recommended that the Town award the proposal to Business Automation th Services, Inc. (BAS) for an amount not to exceed $53,460.00 in accordance with BAS’ May 11, 2009 Proposal presented at this meeting, and WHEREAS, the Town Clerk and Technology Coordinator met with the Town Board to discuss th such proposal at a Workshop Meeting held on Monday, June 8, 2009, and WHEREAS, the Town Board concurs with the Town Clerk and Technology Coordinator’s recommendation, and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby authorizes and directs engagement of Business Automation Services, Inc. (BAS) for the provision of a utility billing software system and implementation services for a total amount not to exceed $53,460.00, and 1 BE IT FURTHER, RESOLVED, that payment for such system and services shall be paid from Computer Software Account No.: 040-1680-2032, and BE IT FURTHER, RESOLVED, that the Town Board further authorizes the Town Budget Officer to take any and all actions necessary to transfer $53,460.00 from unappropriated, undesignated Fund Balance to Account No.: 040-1680-2032 and effectuate such 2009 Budget Amendment, and BE IT FURTHER, RESOLVED, that the Town Board further authorizes the Town Supervisor to execute any needed Agreement or documentation and the Town Supervisor, Town Clerk, Technology Coordinator and/or Town Budget Officer to take all actions necessary to effectuate the terms of this Resolution. th Duly adopted this 15 day of June, 2009, by the following vote: AYES : Mr. Strough, Mr. Brewer, Mr. Stec, Mr. Metivier, Mr. Montesi NOES : None ABSENT: None 2
