Minutes of the previous meeting .were approved.
SOl·rentino reported' that the State Dept. of Public t<lorlts
is studying the area for a Regional Arterial Plan. The
sta.te 1;11:1.11 test local suggestionso The Glens Falls Mas-
tSI' Plan will be used this "'ilay. He suggested tha.t tie work
up our traffic study so the State ca..'1 consider it. The
State must have their ·'.plan ready by June or July 1965 to
obtain sæDE~ Federal money. vie approve Sorrentino preparing
the necessary stud.ies based on land use even though the
study would have to be sketchy.
Sorrentino presented Proposed Subdivision Regulations of
39 pages for us to study and discussed some points. He
told us that these regulations anticipate the adaption of
certain regulations so that when these regulations are adapt-
ed then they will be applicable. He suggested we encourage
the Tor¡Jn Board to adopt a Building Code. This Proposa.l
should be reviewed by us, the Town Board and legal Councile.
Hekler presented copies of the 1961t-Edition of 'tLocal Plan-
ning and Zoningrl published' by the N.Y. State Dept.. of Commerce
Reviewed the Phys1calResources and Land Use Analysis pre-
liminary dl"art. Sorrentino will also include (a) areas of
building deteriation (b) Historical sites (c) trends of new
housing development and (d) will check their oonclusions.
Webster reported that· the soil study appears to be a project
töat will be undertaken in the near future.
A joint sewage study application has been approved and will
be undertaksl'lthis year iT funds are made available Q
