Remove existing Roof Structure over renovated(into living space)garage.
Existing walls are 2 x 6 construction with R-19 insulation. Existing cathedral ceilings are
R-19 with%2"drywall. 19' wide x 24' deep.
Replace Roof.
Back wall of garage to be raised to meet the elevation of the front wall of garage
approximately one foot, 2 x 6 construction with R-19 insulation Faced and covered with
%2"drywall with paneling finish to match existing. Set pre-fabricated trusses(601b load)
at two feet O.C. with 6/12 pitch. One foot overhang on back and side,Three foot
overhang on front to match the old roof. Flat ceilings in finished garage with R 38 faced
insulation and covered with V2"drywall taped and painted. Roof sheathing to be 5/8"
plywood with ply clips between trusses. Two courses Ice& Water Shield at eve's and
three courses in any valleys. Tri-Flex to cover the remaining roof with Thirty year
architectural shingles. Any siding to be replaced will match existing vinyl that is on the
structure.

to carry triple 2 x 10"header. There will be a 2 x 6"knee wall over bearing wall of house
to rafters.
