Meeting of the Planning Board of the Town of Queensbury
held at
Queens bury Town Office Building

1. Minutes of last meeting were approved.
2. Norton reported on the Beautification public meeting
and movie.
3. Demboski was congratulated on his decision to run for
the office of Town Councilman.
4. Kushner suggested that the Town Board could refer
items such as the city dump, etc. to us.
S. Dembòski reported on a public hearing he attended on
the Hudson River Valley Commission. They are concern-
ed with anything happening within one mile of the river
bank. They review anything within 2 miles if can be
seen from river. Tbey will refer anything they know
of to the local Planning and Zoning Boards.
6. Webster reviewed the City of Glens Falls' request for
a dump extension. The,town feels the proposed site
will not last very lonv,..and therefore a long range
answer should be found., The town'. dump is good for
ten to 15 years of town use at the present rate.
They are concerned about littering and the general
loss of property values along a route toa dump.
7. The Town Board is setting µp aRousing Committee and
they would like a Planning Board Member to be on this
Conm1ttee.

nesday, June 7, 1967.
