:Meeting of the Planning- Boa.I'd of t.he 'Town of Queensbury
held at
Queensbury Town Office Building
Wednesday, August 2, 1967 at 1:30 P. M.
Presiding: George Kushner
Present: Austin, Cushing, Norton
Absent: Demboski, Kirkpatrick, Sinnott
1. Minutes of last meeting were approved.
2. Mra Hamilton Hoffman of Signs of Progress discussed
Sign regulation for Zoning Ordinance. He had several
suggestions for practical regulations of signs.
Austin and Cushing will study his suggestions, liter-
ature, etc. and report as to suggest.ions we might
make for changes in this section of the Zoning Ordinance.
Sinnott came in at this time.
3ø Discussed changes to our proposal as to refuse disposal.
Kushner 'will reword this as Buqqested and after a final
ch(~ck of our Board members, g:i.ve t11is to the Town Board
and the newsp;!!per.
4. John va~Dusen presènted #6-67 Merritt Subdiviston off
Corinth Road. He will revise 'f.his as some lots are
too small to conform to the Zoning.
S. Reviewed Sleights #5-67 Evergreen Acres section #2.
Austin m~de a motion to give preliminary approval,
Norton seconded, carried with Cushing opposed.
6. Discussed SavoIe's suggestions for Hall and Reardon
Roads. vie feel Hall Road is 0:;',1<. to be done by the
town but Reardon Road should be brought to town spec-
ifications by Savale as this would be a development
road.
7. Kushner will write to the Town Board recommending the
adaption of Housing, Building, Fire, etc. Codes,
Revised Subdivision Regulations.
Next meeting, Queensbury Town Office Building, dednesday,
September 6, 1967.
