Dear Mr.Freeburn:
Several weeks ago, we met with representatives from Hunt Construction, as well as your
Corporation regarding the violations that currently exist at the McDonald's at Exit 18 and also
on Route 9 in the Town of Queensbury.
Currently your occupant load has exceeded the 99 maximum allowed by taking the play rooms
and turning them into usable seating areas.
In order to allow this to continue, you must either install a sprinkler system within the entire
building, or obtain a variance from New York State Department of Codes Board of Review in
order to allow this tables and chairs to remain in these areas.
As we've had no results from talking to your contractor or representatives,of your organization,
this letter is to advise you that if we do not have any contact from your agency or see paperwork
filed with the Department of State by the next submission deadline to the Department of State
Codes Division,this Department will issue court summons for the violations,and ask that you be
fined for every day that the tables and chairs exist in these spaces.
I trust we can resolve.this matter without any litigation. However, if we can not resolve this
.situation,you would leave us no choice but to seek legal action to end this violation.
