CT0001, 6-30-11, Rev.9 Page 1 of 3 DOCUMENTS USED FOR INSPECTION: Structural, Elevator Shop. LOCATION OF THE WORK PERFORMED: 3-Story Mixed Use Bldg. Stair 2/Elevator 2 8” & 10” CMU walls. REMARKS: The contractor laid a 4’ lift to 18th course and grouted to that elevation during site visit. Mortar and grout were sampled for compressive strength testing, see reports. ☒ CONFORMANCE STATEMENT: Based on our observations, masonry construction activities at the above referenced locations appeared to be in general conformance with the project plans and specifications. ☐ WITH THE FOLLOWING EXCEPTIONS: A. Materials in use were observed to be: Oneonta Block lightweight 8” & 10” units including misc. shapes needed. Package Pavement Type S Mortar and FG3000 Fine Grout. Grade 60 deformed #4 and #7 Reinforcing Bars. 9 Gauge Galvanized Ladder-Type Horizontal Joint Reinforcing wire including prefabricated corner units. B. Verify that the grout temperature is minimum of 70F at the time of placement if the ambient temperature in enclosure is below 32F ☐☐☒ 4.Check protection arrangements for installed masonry and grout ☒☐☐ REMARKS: Work was enclosed and heated. Contractor reported heat is left on overnights.
