PART-TIME WATER TREATMENT LABORER TO PERFORM

WHEREAS, the Town of Queensbury’s Water Superintendent has requested Town Board
authorization to hire a part-time Water Treatment Laborer to work for the summer for the Town’s
Water Department to perform inspections at Shore Colony to meet New York State Department of
Health requirements,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby authorizes and directs the hiring of
James Robert Smith as a part-time Water Treatment Laborer to work for the summer in the Town’s
Water Department to perform inspections at Shore Colony to meet New York State Department of

Health requirements commencing on or about May 1, 2010 and continuing through approximately

October 31, 2010, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that Mr. Smith shall be paid $13.00 per hour as set forth in Town Board
Resolution No.: 56,2010 to be paid from the appropriate payroll account, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board further authorizes and directs the Water Superintendent,
Budget Officer and/or Town Supervisor to complete any forms and take any action necessary to
effectuate the terms of this Resolution.
