Re: Jameson Residence – 94 Hall Road – Existing Septic Certification
At the above referenced project location the existing sewage disposal system was inspected for
property transfer to Ron & Ruth Jameson by Hutchins Engineering in the summer of 2020 and
found that the system consists of a 1,000 gallon septic tank, an effluent pump chamber and a
disposal bed located near the access drive on the east end of the property. The effluent pump was
found to have problems and was replaced as part of the purchase of the property by the Jameson’s.
The effluent pump chamber was replaced by IBS Septic and Drain and new risers with sealed lids
were installed on both the new effluent pump chamber and the existing 1,000 gallon septic tank.
The system is sized to accommodate the existing 2 bedroom, single family residence and has been
functioning properly since the installation of the new effluent pump chamber. The proposed new
residence will also be a 2 bedroom residence and will have all new water saving plumbing fixtures
installed as part of the new home construction. It is our belief that the existing system as installed
will be adequate to support the new residence in the same capacity that is serves the existing
residence.
If there are any questions regarding this certification, please contact our office to discuss.
