Box 749 Lake George , N.Y. 12845 Re : Application #2-5234-011-89 Lucile Lucas Wharf Project Att : Karl Parker Dear Karl: I am in receipt of your letter of August 4 , 1989 regarding the extension of the common property line on the southern side of the Lucile Lucas property into Lake George . As I have mentioned to you previously, this property line was a very arbitrary draw in 1983 and was located so that the entire pre-existing dock structure of Takundewide Homeowners Association would be located in front of the Association property. As shown in Exhibit A, a survey map prepared by VanDusen and Steves in December of 1983 , the original property line direction of N 50 ' -31 ' 30"W veered to a direction of N 27 ' - 50 ' 30"W approximately 40 ' from shore. It is this extension of the property line that has created the setback problem. If the property line was extended along the same axis as the original direction, no setback problem would exist . Our office has prepared a map labeled Exhibit B and dated August 17 , 1989 , which proposes a modification of the common property line so that the property line will cross the shoreline running in the same direction as the original property line . This map has been reviewed by both Lucile Lucas and the officers of Takundewide Homeowners Association. I have enclosed supporting documents labeled Exhibit C and Exhibit D, which state that the property line agreement has been reviewed by both and will be put into effect as a part of this proceeding . Lake George Park Commission Page 2 I would also like to submit Exhibit E , which is a letter signed by William Mason, the managing agent of Takundewide Homeowners Association regarding assignment of boat slips . As is evidenced by this statement , Slip #U-17 on the north side of the Association docks has been permanently assigned to the owner of Lot #6 .
