We, ClearVU Inspections, performed a one-point air tightness, blower door test in
accordance with ASTM E 779-10 on the single family dwelling at 24 Grange Rd,
Greenfield, NY, to determine the air changes per hour on June 8, 2021. The dwelling
was depressurized and the testing procedure performed as per IECC – R402.4.1.2.
Test conditions were as follows:
Fan location - garage door
659’ above sea level
1,103 CFM50
67°F outside air temperature
70°F inside air temperature
Pre-Test Baseline Building Pressure -0.1 PA
-50.0 Pa testing pressure
TEC DG-1000 & Model 3 Fan
Building Volume Calculated via architectural plans
Altitude Correction Factor = (1+(.000006 x altitude)) x CFM50 = n/a
Results: ( 1,273 CFM50 x 0.995 x 60 Minutes) / ( 27,248 cubic feet) =
2.78 ACH50
