SUPERVISOR WALTER - The above mentioned bias are for the foundation and 16 inch
water main. This bid is related to contract No. 28 regarding the water storage
tank, which was awarded at a previous meeting. The bids on the foundation and
main were opened on May 1, 1986 at 2:00 P.M. and turned over to Kestner Engineers
for their recommendation. Kestner recommended that the bid be awarded to Edward
& Thom O'Connor, Inc. bid amount of $184,900.
RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT BID
RESOLUTION NO 125, Introduced by Mr. George Kurosaka who moved for its adoption,
seconded by Mrs. Betty Monahan:
WHEREAS, Mr. Thomas Flaherty, Water. Superintendent for the Town of Queensbury did
recommend that we advertise for bids for a Contract Number 27, Reservoir Foundation
and 16" Water Main, and
WHEREAS, ten bids were submitted and received and opened at the specified time
and place by the Director of Purchasing /Town Clerk Darleen Dougher and such bids
were then turned over to Kestner Engineers for their recommendation, and

WHEREAS, Kestner Engineers by letter has recommended that the bid be awarded to
Edward & Thom O'Connor, Inc, Glens Falls, New York NOW, THEREFORE BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury hereby accepts the bid
of Edward & Thom O'Connor, Inc. in the amount of $184,900.
Duly adopted by the following vote:
Ayes: Mr. Kurosaka, Mr. Borgos, Mrs. Monahan, Mrs. Walter
Noes: None
Absent: Mr. Montesi
SUPERVISOR WALTER - Noted that the Rev. Doug Hinton has requested a one year temporary
permit for a mobile home units on Ridge Road.
COUNCILMAN BORGOS - Stated that he had gone out and inspected the mobile homes
in question and had spoke with the Fire Marshal regarding the fire codes and found
everything to be in compliance with the codes and all the necessary exits to be
there for the purpose for which it is being used. I recommend that the permit be
given.
RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE TEMPORARY PERMIT FOR MOBILE HOME
RESOLUTION NO. 126, Introduced by Mr. Stephen Borgos who moved for its adoption,
seconded by Mr. George Kurosaka:
WHEREAS, The Wesleyan Church of Ridge Road has made application in accordance with
paragraph 2 (B) Section 4, of an ordinance of the Town of Queensbury entitled ORDINANCE
FOR THE REGULATION OF MOBILE HOMES and MOBILE HOME COURTS IN THE TOWN OF QUEENSBURY,
WARREN COUNTY, NEW YORK, to locate a mobile home outside of a duly licensed mobile
home court at property situated on Ridge Road, and
WHEREAS, it is hereby determined that the facts presented in said application are
sufficient to authorize the issuance of the permit requested by said application,
therefore be it
RESOLVED, that pursuant to the provisions of the above mentioned ordinance, temporary
permission is hereby given to Wesleyan Church of Ridge Road to locate a mobile
home outside of a licensed mobile home court for a period of one year at property
situated at Ridge Road, Town of Queensbury, and that the Building Inspector is
hereby authorized and directed to issue such permit in accordance with the terms
and conditions of said ordinance,
