1.0 DISCUSSION: Bay Ridge EMS Building Expansion
Members of the Bay Ridge EMS presented the Town Board with a proposal to expand their ems
building on Ridge Road. The Board has suggested that the expansion proposal be part of their
three year contract. The Town Board has proposed that if the contract is ready by September

12 the Town Board could schedule a public hearing on the contract for September 26.
2.0 DISCUSSION: Queensbury Central Volunteer Fire Building Expansion
Expansion of the Queensbury Central Volunteer Fire Company Building on Lafayette Street-The
company has proposed a scaled down version that will cost approximately Seven hundred

thousand dollars…Town Board has proposed a resolution to be set forth at the August 22
meeting authorizing the Queensbury Central Vol. Fire Company to borrow one point seven
million. The Fire Company is seeking tax exempt financing status if they are successful the

Board will vote on the on the authorization at the September 12 meeting.
3.0 DISCUSSION: Website Upgrade Proposal and Marketing
The Town Board indicated that they wish to be aligned more closely with Lake George than it is
presently. In regard to internet searches it would be more advantageous to be connected to Lake
George more often than with the City of Glens Falls.
